NOTE: Due to low participation and short staffing, this hackathon is canceled. We will do our best to bring HackExeter back in 2025!
Join us from April 19th - April 20st for HackExeter—a hybrid hackathon designed for middle and high school students. On April 19th, we'll open HackExeter virtually, and on the 20th, all of our teams will join us in-person at Phillips Exeter Academy for a day of hacking and judging.
Schedule

| Friday (4/19) 4 PM | Opening Ceremony (virtually on Zoom) |
| Saturday (4/20) 8-10 AM | Teams arrive at Phillips Exeter Academy. |
| Saturday 4 PM | The Devpost submission is due, containing code (.zip file or Github link) and a 5-minute video demo. |
| Saturday 4-5 PM | Judges come around to interview teams over dinner. |
| Satruday 5-6 PM | Teams display their projects in a gallery-style format, while judges deliberate. |
| Saturday 6:30 PM | Award Ceremony! The winning teams share their video-demos. |
| Saturday 7 PM | Teams pack up and head home. |
Requirements
We'll accept submissions via Devpost. Particularly, we'll request a copy of all code files (either in .zip format or via a Github link) and a 5-minute video demo. We recommend you answer the following questions in your video.
- What's your project? Give us a brief description. How does your project connect to the theme?
- Why is your project important to you? Is it aimed at solving a challenge in the world or helping you explore an area of interest?
- How does your project work? Run us through the code.
- What challenges did you face when creating this? How did you overcome them and what did you learn?
- What are you most proud of? What are you least proud of?
- If you choose to continue this project, what would you add on?
